1. About these terms

These terms apply when you access or use Letzen, a property operations platform provided by Starling Group Enterprises Ltd, company number 11779468, registered at 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.

Our ICO registration application has been submitted and the public registration number will be published on the site once issued.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using Letzen for a company or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. The service

Letzen helps landlords and property teams manage property records, tenant maintenance reports, compliance reminders, documents, notifications, and subscription billing. Some features may be marked beta, coming soon, or limited-preview until fully released.

3. Accounts and security

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure.
• You must tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised account access.
• You are responsible for users invited into your workspace and for their actions.

4. Your responsibilities

• Use Letzen only for lawful property management purposes.
• Do not upload illegal, harmful, misleading, or infringing content.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or misuse the service.
• Make sure you have the right to upload tenant, property, compliance, and document data.
• Provide tenants with suitable privacy information before using Letzen to process their data.

5. Not legal or compliance advice

Letzen can help organise compliance tasks and reminders, but it does not provide legal, tax, accounting, property, safety, or regulatory advice. You remain responsible for checking your legal obligations and taking professional advice where needed.

6. Billing and subscriptions

• Paid plans are billed through Stripe.
• Prices are shown before checkout and may vary by plan, billing cycle, and property bracket.
• We aim to show customer-facing prices as final prices. If VAT applies in future, displayed prices will include VAT unless we clearly state otherwise.
• Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You authorise Stripe to charge the selected payment method for recurring fees, taxes, and agreed charges.
• If payment fails, access may be limited, suspended, or downgraded after reasonable notice.
• You can cancel from the account area or by contacting privacy@letzen.app.

7. Trials, free plan, and changes

We may offer a free plan, trials, or promotional access. Trial or promotional terms may change, expire, or be withdrawn. We may change plan features or prices with reasonable notice. Price changes do not affect an already-paid billing period.

8. Uploaded content and data

You keep ownership of content and data you upload. You give us permission to host, process, copy, transmit, and display it only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve Letzen.

We may remove content if we reasonably believe it breaches these terms, creates risk, or is unlawful.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep Letzen available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, incidents, third-party outages, or force majeure events may cause downtime or degraded performance.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay, or misuse the service. You may stop using Letzen at any time.

After closure, we may retain limited records as described in our Privacy Policy and as required for billing, security, legal, and tax purposes.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including fraud or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Letzen is provided as-is and we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or loss caused by customer data entry, missed legal deadlines, third-party services, or unavailable internet access.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Letzen changes. If changes are material, we will give reasonable notice in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless consumer law gives you mandatory rights in another location.
